Monotony is the key to success.

Not just natural success but spiritual success too. In the same way that very successful people in the natural separate themselves from various distractions to focus on their vision, so we too spiritually should do the same. We need to develop a walk with God alone and choose to shut out all distractions. In this end-time move of God, Satan is drawing people away with all the cares of this world and we are inadvertently becoming ineffective for God at the most crucial time in history. Without time alone with God, we will get weaker and weaker and not achieve our God-given purpose.

To get strong with God we need time alone.

We fill our time and headspace with things and people, that we can never get our faith strong. If we think about the times we have been strong for God in our lives, it’s when we are doing it alone. Reading the Word, praying, meditating - all of these things are done alone. It’s in that time of being alone that our walk with God is greatly affected. When it’s just us and God.

Ultimately, we need to make a decision that we may have monotonous times with God but that is the key to success and the reward is worth the sacrifice.

We need to dedicate a lot of time to God and be strong in faith.

Monotony is the key to faith. Of course, the flesh would rather do anything than spend time with God but we need to make the time. It’s a lonely walk of faith but if you’re prepared to be lovely, He will strengthen you and make you the most satisfied person in the world. God will redeem that loneliness and it’s in these times of loneliness you will get close to God.

Remember, time with God is not just prayer. It’s also mediating on, reading, listening, and studying the Word - keeping it at the forefront of our mind and heart. This will keep our spirit strong but we have to focus on it and do it alone.

We have to do it alone.

Consider this. When we’re eating, we may be able to speak between mouthfuls, but we have to mainly concentrate on what we’re doing - eating our food. Spiritually, when we’re eating, we have to do the same and focus on God. When we are spiritually eating which is our nourishment, our life force, we have to do it alone.

Also consider that walking with God in faith and love is not only lonely but you can get persecuted too. So many can turn against you, even your own family and friends. That’s why we have to remain close to God and stay strong in faith. Loneliness may come for periods of time but see this as an opportunity to strengthen your relationship with God. You will come out on top in the end but in the midst of it, get close to God.

Narrow is the path not wide, which leads us to strong faith.

Make a predetermined decision and say ‘I don’t care what it costs me. I will make sure I will keep myself redeemed in God and not become a castaway'.

Be prepared for a lonely walk. It’s going to affect relationships at times but make a decision that you’re going to put your time and relationship with God first. In the end, God can then strengthen every aspect of your life and change it for the better.
